Onion Peel Tea is a warm drink, commonly made in India and known as Pyaaz Chaa. Onion Peel Tea uses the peelings of the frequently used onion and is thought to help cold and flu-like symptoms, due to its vitamin C content.

Rather than tossing your onion peels into the rubbish bin or compost heap, consider making a warming health tonic for you and your family. Vitamin C is known to protect cells and keep them healthy, maintain healthy skin and support wound healing.

In today's world and growing interest in the environment, it is important to reduce our waste as much as possible. Living more sustainably is important for us now, and in the future.

When heated with water, the onion peels soften and don’t retain any pungent onion smell. We recommend this refreshing tea for a winter pick me up, or to ward off those change of season coughs and colds.
